Sunflowers always bring a smile to my face and joy to my soul. Their bright, yellow colors with outstretched petal arms invite us into a relationship with faith, hope and love.
As the sunflower grows it faithfully faces the sun on its journey from east to west each day to receive its warmth and light. At night in the darkness, it turns toward the east waiting in hope for the sun to rise the next day.
At the sunflower’s center is a love dance, its spirals swirl in both directions to create a beautiful pattern. The balanced pattern creates a structure that securely holds the seeds in the heart of the sunflower.
Just for fun, imagine you are securely held in the heart of Love by bright yellow arms that guide you in the dance that is your life. Where all you need to do is to be sure of what you hope for and certain of what you do not see as you dance ever more joyfully toward the light.
