Love is from the Infinite
Love is from the Infinite, and will remain until eternity. Rumi
After class last week the final verse of Paul's hymn on Love from 1 Corinthians 13 NIV started gently echoing within me... "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love." As this refrain continued to play within and I contemplated what remains, it occurred to me that maybe these three words were the stuff of eternity. What if we were carried into this life in the arms of Love and it is faith and hope that can serve to anchor us to the Love that will carry us back home to eternity?
Join me on Thursday for a nurturing yoga practice of anchoring into Love.

Love is the emblem of eternity; it confounds all notion of time; effaces all memory of a beginning, all fear of an end. Germaine De Stael
We know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear… 19 We love because God first loved us. 1 John 4 NIV
Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity.
Henry Van Dyke
9 “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. 11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. John 15 NIV
Eternity will be wonderful, but there is one thing heaven will not contain, and that is the call, the possibility, and the privilege of living a supernatural life here and now by faith, before we meet Jesus face to face. Francis Schaeffer
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1NIV
